Am I obligated to buy anything?

No, you are never obligated to buy a vehicle. Booking an appointment through Keyosk simply reserves a time for you to view and test drive the car. If you inspect the vehicle and decide it does not meet your expectations, you are completely free to walk away with zero obligations.

The Purpose of the Appointment

An appointment scheduled through Keyosk is an opportunity for inspection, not a commitment to purchase. Buying a vehicle is a major financial decision that requires careful consideration. The purpose of our service is to ensure the car you want to see is available and to secure a dedicated time for you to evaluate it. When you arrive at the dealership, your only objective is to inspect the vehicle. You need to verify its condition, check the features, and take it for a test drive. Dealerships understand that an appointment is just the first step in the sales process. They expect you to evaluate the car. If the vehicle fails to meet your standards during this evaluation, the process stops there. You have fulfilled the purpose of the appointment simply by showing up and taking a look.

Your Right to Decline

You retain complete control over your purchasing decisions at all times. Neither Keyosk nor the dealership can force you to buy a car. If you test drive the vehicle and find the seats uncomfortable, or you dislike the color in person, or the cargo space is smaller than you anticipated, you have the absolute right to decline the purchase. Furthermore, even if you love the car, you might not agree with the dealership on the price, the financing terms, or the value they offer for your trade-in. In any of these scenarios, your right to decline is fundamental. You can simply inform the sales representative that the vehicle or the deal does not work for you, and leave the premises. There are no penalties for walking away.

No Financial Commitments Upfront

Because you are not obligated to buy, it is important to note that Keyosk never requires a deposit or any financial commitment to book an appointment. We do not hold funds in escrow, and we do not process partial payments. You arrive at the dealership without any financial ties to the vehicle. This gives you the leverage to walk away freely. If you do decide to purchase the vehicle, all financial commitments are made directly with the dealership's finance department after you have fully inspected the car and agreed to the terms. Until you sign the final purchase agreements and take delivery of the vehicle, you remain completely un-obligated. Our service is designed to get you to the starting line of a potential transaction, not to force you across the finish line.
