What if I live far from the dealership?

If you live far from the dealership, you must travel to the location to complete the purchase. There is no vehicle delivery option. You are entirely responsible for your own transportation to the dealership lot, regardless of the distance from your home.

Travel requirements for purchase

Automotive inventory is spread across various franchise locations throughout the state. If the specific make, model, and trim you require is only available at a dealership several hours away, you have to drive there. Dealerships will not relocate a vehicle to a closer lot for your convenience.

You must physically be present to inspect the vehicle, complete the test drive, and sign the final paperwork in the finance office. State regulations regarding identity verification and contract execution require your physical signature in the presence of dealership personnel.

Therefore, you must arrange reliable transportation to reach the dealership for your appointment. Whether you drive a current vehicle, ask a friend for a ride, or use a rideshare service, the logistics of arriving at the dealership are your responsibility.

Planning for a long-distance visit

If you are traveling a significant distance, preparation is critical. Ensure you have all necessary documents, such as your driver's license, insurance, and payment method, before you leave home. Forgetting a document could result in a wasted trip if you cannot finalize the paperwork.

Allocate extra time for your journey to account for traffic or unexpected delays. Arriving late to an appointment at a distant dealership can cause scheduling conflicts, especially if the dealership is busy that day.

If you are trading in a vehicle, you will drive that vehicle to the dealership. The dealership will appraise it upon your arrival. If the transaction is completed, you will leave your trade-in there and drive your new vehicle home.

No delivery options available

Keyosk does not offer vehicle delivery to your home or office. We do not employ transport drivers, and we do not coordinate shipping logistics for retail purchases.

Franchise dealerships also typically require you to take physical delivery of the vehicle on their lot. The final step of the transaction is handing you the keys and watching you drive the vehicle off the premises.

If the travel distance is too great, you must decide if the specific vehicle is worth the trip. If it is not, we will need to search for different inventory closer to your location, which may require compromising on vehicle color or options.
